Hi everyone! I have a COVID-19 WorldRace update for y’all!
I am just now writing this because I am finally able to take a breath. I have been feeling very bombarded with everything in my life right now, that short life updates & WorldRace were last on my list of To-Do’s. But that does not mean it is any less important and that I haven’t thought about it every single day! I have been getting many, many questions on what I am going to do or if my plans have changed! I want to be able to answer and clear up any questions or concerns that you guys have for me!
Just when i thought everything was going the way I thought it should go… God had other plans & that is okay! Alot of times we get so comfortable with where we’re at & forget that God has the power to shake things up whenever he wants to. So, originally I was going on a 9-month mission trip to three different countries and supposed to go to training camp in July and launch September 2020. However, we had to scratch that due to the uncertainty of this time. At first it was hard to cope with, but ultimately my goal in going on the WorldRace is to purse Christ’s plan for me. So despite the big changes, I AM STILL GOING ON THE RACE! It is just going to look at bit different from what we all were expecting!
So, here is what you need to know!

IS THE RACE STILL ON?

As of right now, 100% YES! So donations, support, and prayers are still very much needed!

NEW LAUNCH DATE?

January 2021 — I will be at home in Texas up until January. Then in January I will fly to Georgia where our training base is and launch from there to a new country!

HOW LONG WILL I BE GONE?

6 months — i was originally suppose to be gone for a full nine months, but like I said… plans change! I will now be gone for a full six months meaning I will be gone beginning of January to end of June/beginning of July!

NEW GOAL?

My new fundraising goal is $10,000! With a shorter time period, that means less money that has to be raised! Which is a good thing because fundraising can be so hard!

WHERE AM I GOING?

For so long i had no idea! BUT great news was released last week & i will be traveling to Nicaragua, Costa Rica & Cambodia! I am beyond excited for this new journey and cannot wait to see what this new route brings!

HOW DO I FEEL ABOUT ALL OF THIS?

Waiting is no fun! Uncertainty is no fun! But knowing that I will be pursuing God’s plans for my life no matter what is thrown at me is very rewarding! All in all, I am okay with all of the changes! I’m not going on the world race for a travel getaway, I decided to go so that I could share the gospel with people that are dying to hear more of it! So some switches in travel plans because of a virus is not going to stop me from sharing God’s good works.
